The Citrio Proxy Manager is a jack of all trades kind of thing. Let’s start! Citrio Browser Features & Specialties In this post we are going to talk about these features. Features like a torrent download manager, an intelligent download manager, a video downloader, a proxy manager and what not. Citrio Browser – IntroductionĬitrio browser is based on Google’s Chromium project, which is a web browser open source project in which anyone can grab the code and make changes and distribute it again.Ĭitrio comes with many features by default. ![]() We have used browsers like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and how can we forget Internet Explorer.īut in this post I am going to talk about a totally new browser that brings a fresh wave of wind and provides a feature rich experience to users right out of the box. We can watch movies online, we can consume multimedia content and all this can be done from inside a browser easily.īut to do this we need a browser that actually works well and allows us to do all these things. Today we have different web apps to do different things. Long time ago, Internet used to be webpages with images, text and links. Internet allows you to centralize a whole system and integrate it to make it easy for the users as well as employees to use features. We have tools that are web based and they do a lot of things like managing a whole shop etc. We can go on the Internet and order food, order groceries and we can actually buy anything online. Almost everything we do today is somehow related to the web. somehow that was one thing that didn't affect me in the slightest.Internet has become a huge thing today. It's probably impossible to be perfectly anonymous in this day and age, but any steps you take sure don't hurt. The less of yourself that you allow to go online - the better off you are in the long run. What REALLY are you doing with all that data, and why do you actually need it? This is why I have always been opposed to data collection policies and practices in the first place - it's simply not needed, and in the bigger picture it's really just a liability. ![]() They get hacked, and then all the information gets leaked - then what are you going to do? My concern is that these companies are not the Fort Knox type computer security a lot of people think they are. My concern isn't what Google (or Microsoft) does with the information they collect. I'm mostly statistics to them, but some use also comes my way later down the line (ie more relevant search results). I look at it the same way like getting my car's licence plate read by some person counting traffic on a road. I don't really have anything to hide, they aren't allowed to misuse any legal sensitive information they might find about me. ![]() This is a somewhat minimized view of how my browser window looks:ĭancso wrote:I think the whole spying thing is kind of collateral damage. The main reason to favor Seamonkey/Palemoon is if you used browsers about 18 years or so ago, you had all your buttons on one bar and you didn't need all the gimmicky bells and whistles. I abandoned Firefox at about Firefox 15 or so because I was getting tired of the interface changes and Seamonkey restored much of the old interface that Firefox left behind. (Everything else, it gets a little tricky) It has add-on compatibility with Firefox 39 for strictly webpage-modifying addons. It's developed and funded by the same team as Firefox but the interface is not moved forward quite nearly as much as Firefox's is. Seamonkey is kind of an all-in-one browser that picks up where Netscape Navigator left off. Seamonkey and Palemoon are similar (though they do not have similar development goals).
